Monel products come in several different grades, each with specific chemical composition and mechanical properties. The following are several common Monel grades and their applications:
Monel 400 (UNS N04400): Monel 400 is a copper nickel alloy with excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. It is widely used in fields such as marine engineering, chemical equipment, petrochemical equipment, seawater desalination devices, etc.
Monel K-500 (UNS N05500): Monel K-500 is a copper nickel alloy containing aluminum and titanium, which has higher strength and wear resistance. It is widely used in marine environments, pump valve manufacturing, centrifuge parts, and other fields.
Monel R-405: Monel R-405 is a sulfide reinforced copper nickel alloy with excellent toughness and corrosion resistance. It is commonly used for manufacturing bolts, nuts, and fasteners.

Monel 404 (UNS N04404): Monel 404 is a carbon containing copper nickel alloy with high strength and oxidation resistance. It is suitable for petrochemical equipment, aviation engine parts, etc. in high-temperature environments.

ApplicationNickel alloys can be used in the following industries:
